  • Currrolina Saturday Night

    The words are actually “Carolina Saturday night”, but Sunny Ledfurd sings it with a drawl. Sunny has been a fixture in the NC bar rocker scene for quite sometime (especially in Charlotte, but also in Raleigh at City Limits Saloon) and I am SO glad to hear him on XM Radio’s “Nashville” station now!

    Check out the new video for “Pontoon Boat”. I would like to dedicate this to my pontoon friends…

    My family business has been known for over 35 years for two things: 1 – auto body repair and paint, and 2 – marine sales and accessories.

  • Catch and Release

    So my good friend JD just called to let me know that he’s going to be on a little fishing expedition from November through February in Florida, then to Mexico, the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and on after that.

    It’s barely even turned cold here and I can’t wait to get out of here and do something like this!

  • For All You Boaters Out There…

    You’d think I would have been aware of this… but it’s good to news to me nonetheless:

    “Falls Lake may be full, but boaters are still facing high gas prices. The marina is charging $3.80 per gallon.

    Poole recommends that boaters save their gas receipts. Boaters are being charged a highway tax, but since they are not burning the gas on the highway, that money can be recouped during tax time.

    The amount averages between 42 and 50 cents savings per gallon, she said.”
